Hiking in the Flaajokull Glacier Region

A gravel road leads to Fláajökull glacier. From the parking at the glacier are numerous hiking trails. It is possible to walk from Lambhús to the roots of the glacier (10 km). On the way is a rich variety of plants and birds. It is clearly visible how the glaciers have molded the landscape.
